Shipping and Returns Policy


DLight Chandelier and Decor has 2 shipping locations: Dallas TX and France:

​Rates vary by location, destination and complexity. 

We recommend this shipping type based on item size, fragility and weight. 

​     From Dallas:

We usually use UPS Ground, for all US shipments. UPS Dallas is reliable and fast.

The quotes we provide include professional packing, shipping, tracking link, insurance and door delivery.

Transit time: 2 to 5 days.

DCD will authorize in store pick-up – if the customer brings all the necessary wrapping and protection materials and enough people to carry the item. DCD will not be responsible for any damages.  

     From France:

DHL Front Door Air Freight is a shipment method typically utilized for international or fragile items. Front Door Freight shipments have a custom crate built around the item or a double box, prior to transit. 
The quotes we provide include professional packing, crating, shipping, tracking link, insurance and door delivery.

Transit time: 5 to 10 days.

For international shipments, you will be charged a custom duty by the carrier at arrival, before delivery.

It’s usually around 5% of the value.

You will have 10 days to pay before the shipment is returned to sender.

DCD will not be responsible for the payment of custom duties and eventual returns. The customer will have to pay for a second shipment. DCD will not refund the returned items.

​DLight will authorize in store pick-up: in Dallas and in France or your own carrier.

Note that we will offer free packing from France.

DCD will not be responsible for the shippings and deliveries and any problems due to the transport, from France and from Texas. The customer will automatically contract an insurance with the transport company, that will cover any damages.

DCD recommends to write  the mention: ” Needs Inspection” on the delivery receipts, even if everything looks fine from the outside. This is the only way to get the insurance coverage in case of problems. DCD will assist the customer with problems for all shipments from France, to facilitate the communication with the transport company.

DLight Chandelier will accept a return if initiated within 3 days after delivery. (Business, Holidays and week-ends included)

​ Return Shipping Fee:

Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges – no refund for the original shipping costs and custom fees.

Items must be returned in the condition received; professionally packed and fully insured. 

Any international customs duties and taxes will not be refunded, and returns of customized or made to order items are at the seller’s discretion. Return shipping costs are not subsidized and may be higher than the original shipping cost. To the extent that the EU Consumer Rights Directive (“CRD”) applies to you, you may have additional rights relating to returning items. To the extent the CRD applies (if you are a consumer based in the EU), you will be entitled to elect to use either the CRD or the seller’s policy in respect of returning a particular item.

​ Refund:

DLight Chandelier will refund the value of the returned item, if it’s returned in the condition received,

within 2 weeks after reception.

We will charge a restocking fee of 20% of the item value.
